Happy New Year!! 50th Birthday Party

 
Hello All & Happy New Year!!  I took a short bloggers sabbatical but I'm back. Is that allowed??  Anyway I wanted to share the 50th Birthday Party I catered last Saturday for a lovely couple in Staten Island NYC. The flowers where designed by the gorgeous Liz Agbor-tabi/Event Planner and color scheme was a collaboration of the existing space decor and what was in my prop inventory.  We went with champagne, willow,gold and silver creating a tasteful but "blow your mind" response.  Spicy Jerk Chicken, Gruyere Cheese, Mango, Green Bean, Pepper wrapped with colorful lavosh rounds, tied with chive ribbon served with balsamic pumpkin dipping sauce

Ground Beef: grilled with Worcestershire, garlic, scallion topped with

Sautéed mushrooms, artichoke parmesan and Gouda/& Just Cheddar 

(Gold Star skewer: Gherkin pickle, Red Tomato &Orange Pepper)
